Dear Mom & Dad
The MTC is awesome so far! There are tons of rules but most of them aren't too hard to follow. They push obedience here more than anything else. My companion's name is Elder Welling, who is from California and went to school at BYU Hawaii. He is a pretty cool kid, and we get along pretty good. The food here is OK but I am already sick of it.
This last Sunday we had a devotional and Clayton Christensen talked to us, he is the smartest man I have ever met & his talk was awesome, the spirit is awesome here too. I have class 6 to 7 hours a day, 5 days a week and you are always doing stuff so I am exhausted, not to mention getting up everyday at 6:30! The first Friday that I was here, I was already teaching people in Spanish and all of my classes and church meetings are in Spanish so they force you to learn really quick. The two years that I took Spanish in School was very helpful though.
Thanks for the package by the way! Those star bursts are kept me awake during classes.
By the way Dearelder.com is really nice because they print off the letter automatically instead of waiting for p-day to check my messages on my email. So write me with dearelder or email, whichever works or letters by the mail.
Say hi to everyone for me and tell them I am doing great! Tell Jarica thanks for the package and just send me updates on every one's life and what's going on in the world because I have no idea! I love you guys so much! I hope you write me back soon!
Love, Elder Watts
