Hey everyone!! I saw that you emailed me so I will write back to that one in a second! But I hope that everything is going well back at home and everyone is good! Thanks for all of the letters that I got those were awesome! And mom I liked your little story about the moose because that sounded very interesting... :) Oh p.s mom I like the blog spot and it looks really good if I never told you that! Thanks! So I have had a pretty crazy week so far! I was called down to President Brown's office last week for an interview which was pretty weird! We talked for a while and then he asked me and my companion more serious questions he said that he just wanted to talk with some elders that day! It was pretty crazy. Right as we left I said to my companion that there was no way that was for nothing and he didn't believe me but I knew. So the next day we get told that the interview wasn't just to talk to us and that we had a pretty crazy week ahead of us! They said that we were going to be interviewed by an Islamic type of CNN called Aljazeera, or however you spell it, and that it was HUGE! The company interviewed president Hinkley's son and Jeffry R. Holland and a couple other people so this was massive. They didn't know why an Islamic news crew was coming to the church and wanting to know so much so they were kind of scared that they just wanted dirt on the church! But I guess they thought that it was because we might have a Mormon president soon and they had no idea what a Mormon was! So we had like 48 hours notice of this so we practiced like crazy for 48 hours and basically got us scared for the whole thing! So when the actual time came to have the interview, right before we went in there, they told us that this was being broad casted to over 240 million households and over 100 countries. So you can imagine how nervous we all were (there was me and my companion and 2 sister missionaries)! So we had the interview in the lunch room and they were asking us questions like why we were serving a mission and what we learn and do in the MTC and what happens on a mission basically! There were a lot of other questions but I can't even remember half of them! It was so cool! I felt like we answered everything really well and I know that it was because of the Spirit! The Spirit just used us as a tool and it was like we weren't even talking at all, it was all the Spirit! So 2 days after the interview we had a Sunday fireside and President Brown was speaking for it and lo and behold he calls me and my companion to the stage as well as the other two sisters and tells the whole MTC about our experience. So we were sitting there in front of the whole MTC and we just answered questions and stuff! His talk was on how to be a successful missionary and one of his points was being receptive to the spirit so he used us as an example of being receptive to the spirit in front of the whole MTC! It was so amazing! I was on cloud 9! So now me and my companion get people all of the time coming up to us and asking how we go that experience and we just say we have no idea! Ha-ha it was so cool! I have had an awesome week this week! I heard Luke is back too! You better tell him to practice it up on the wake board because it is going to be embarrassing when I destroy him! And that goes for Josh too! :) I will send my memory card home today so hopefully you get that and you like the pictures! I don't have too many yet.
