Elder Watts

Hey everyone!

One more week in the mission! This week has been a good one. We got caught in a huge rainstorm the other day and it was so crazy! we got back to the apartment and I felt like I fell into a pool of water! ha ha it was pretty fun and we made the best of it. We also went out to eat pizza for a birthday of a member in the ward who always goes out and teaches with us! it was so good and it was kind of like the pizza back home which was pretty cool! Speaking of food, this weeks weird food of the week is cow heart... we were eating this meat and it was pretty hard to chew and the member was like do you know what that is? and I said I hope it is meat, and she laughed and said it was a cow heart! Ha ha it was actually pretty good I am not going to lie!

This week has been pretty rough with teaching. Our area is massive and our appointments fall through all of the time so we get stuck like 30 minutes away from any of our other investigators so that sucks because they waste a lot of our time. We taught a girl this week that was confused about our message because she had been taught by the Jehovah's witnesses and instead of trying to resolve her confusion she decided it would be best to get up and leave in the middle of the lesson without saying anything... that was pretty weird and it is frustrating when you try to resolve the confusion and they wont even tell you why. It was pretty weird.

So we have transfers today and I am not sure if me and my companion are going to leave! I bet my companion does but I bet I stay which kind of sucks because he is awesome and he knows everything there is to know about the area so I don't want to be stuck here with a new companion who doesn't know the area but we will see!

And I got my two packages!!!!!!! We went to the office the other day and picked them up! Honestly that is what has gotten me through this week! Ha ha I have eaten like half of the candy already and we have had a ton of Nerf wars! it is so nice to just relax and play around every once in a while! And the music is heavenly! I forgot how nice music is! ha ha it is so great! and a lot of the people here have never seen a real football so I was teaching some of the members how to throw it and they had no idea how to do it! ha ha it was pretty funny. We have had a great time with the packages and it helped so much this week so thanks!!!
