Elder Watts

Hey everyone,

So this week has been kind of crazy! We went to this zone leader conference with me and my companion but the assistants called us the night before and they told us to bring Elder Chugg who is just a normal missionary that we are living with so we were pretty confused because it should have just been zone leaders there.  Anyways we start the whole meeting and the President starts announcing where all the people that aren't zone leaders are going. So it gets to Elder Chugg and the President says that Elder Chugg is going to replace my companion, Elder Bussey. So I was shocked all of a sudden and then he tells Elder Bussey right after that, that he is going to be the new Assistant!!!! I totally knew that he was going to be the next Assistant, he is just too good of a missionary not to be. So I have never had a companion for more than one transfer and looks like I couldn't do it this transfer either!! Ha-ha but oh well, I am really happy for him and I got the next best companion that I could have in the mission so I am overall happy, really bummed to see Elder Bussey leave but I am stoked to be with Elder Chugg!! So it looks like I am staying here in the same house but I am changing companions. He knows the area really well so it will be really good. Well this week has been really slow to tell you the truth, New Years was probably the worst day of my whole mission, EVERYONE was hammered and there were even little kids that were drinking and the parents didn't care. I'm not going to lie, it made me really sad and just feel helpless trying to find someone that wasn't hammered to teach, but we ended up finding some lessons later that day and it really turned things around but it was crazy. I have never seen so much alcohol in my whole life. But other than that day it has been good. We had 2 baptisms in the zone this last week which is really good, Elder Chugg and I have to change the zone a lot and I hope we can get a lot of baptisms this month!!

Well other than that not a whole lot happened this week!! I am sad and glad at the same time for my old Comp but he is going to tear things up!!
