Elder Watts

Hey everyone,

Hike to the waterfall on P-Day 3/11/13.

So this week my companion and I have been way busy. There were 40 new missionaries that came into the mission this last week so my companion and I had to help out and move them everywhere and send everyone off to the different cities. On Wednesday, we were asked to give a training session to all of the missionaries and it went awesome! We brought one of our real investigators who just wont accept the invitation to be baptized and he is an awesome guy and knows everything but he just won't do it, but anyways we decided to bring him and do a real live practice with all of the newbies that came in. It was pretty funny because the investigator started giving them suggestions about getting to know people or that they didn't teach something very good and it was great. But at the end my old companion Elder Bussey and I decided to go in and teach to give the new guys an example of how to teach. So we started teaching and I have never felt the spirit so much in my whole mission. Everyone was crying and some of the new guys bore their testimonies and invited him to get baptized. About a week ago we gave his mom, who was sick, a blessing in the hospital, and about 2 days later they released her at once!  She was healed in about 2 days and we talked about the authority of God and how he has seen the miracles of this power in his life and it was just such a good lesson. And when we extended the baptismal date, he declined again. I couldn't believe it. We were all super sad but it was so cool because the missionaries for the first time felt that desire for someone to get baptized and it was an amazing experience. So we worked in our area like 2 days this week because we have been so busy with all of the new people and transfers but it was good!! Oh by the way I am still with Elder Chugg which I am stoked about! We have been together for a long time and it is a lot of fun and we get along really well.
