Elder Watts

This last week was pretty cool, the 7th and 8th of December are the days of candles. Everyone goes out on their patio on these 2 days and lights candles. It was originally to pray to the Virgin Mary but now it is just a Christmas thing here but a lot of people do pray to the virgin through the candles. We lit a bunch at an investigators house and it was a lot of fun learning about the culture! But everyone here takes advantage of the holiday and gets completely wasted so there were a lot of drunks in the street and it was pretty hard trying to find appointments at that time! But we actually did pretty well and we visited some investigators that aren't too into the partying thing. It was a weekend full of parties though.

On Sunday we received a bunch of references from the members and it was awesome! A bunch of members brought their friends to church and a lot of the Friends liked it a lot. So this week we should have some new people to teach!
