Elder Watts

Hey everyone!!

So I am loving it here in Pereira! The weather is amazing here, it rains a lot and it is pretty cold compared to Cali so it is way better! We had a baptism this last week with a girl named Franci! She had gone to church for the last 2 years and some of her family was bapized as well so she already knew a lot and she had the desire to be baptized which was really cool! To tell you the truth I didnt really do much to get her baptized but it was pretty cool to have a baptism! And even cooler is that one of my investigators named Joanna that I found in my last area who we had been working with for like 3 months got baptized this last week as well and her family is going to church now too so that is possibly a whole family that could be brought into the church! I am so stoked about that! But it kind of sucks that I wasnt there when she got baptized. But in the baptism that we had here, we needed a special musical number but no one would commit to doing it and we didnt want to sing because that is what all of the missionaries do so I whipped out the old harmonica and like an hour before the baptism I got the music for Come Thy Fount of Every Blessing and I figured out how to play it on the harmonica and I played it at the baptism and all of the people thought it was pretty cool! The bishop said it was just like the Pioneers and it made me think about the ancestors I have that were pioneers and that was a pretty cool experience! Ha ha so it turns out that the harmonica idea really was inspiration! I told you so!!!!! hahaha

I am doing good though, spanish is kicking my butt again and it is hard to focus on my progression instead of what i still need to learn but oh well I am doing a little bit better with that! We have a lot of investigators to work with here so hopefully they want to listen and progress!! I cant stop telling you how great this area is though! in the street we will just be walking and we will find people who absolutelly love the church but dont know where it is and thats the only reason they havent been going to church! This place is just full of golden investigators and people who just love the church! they are all so nice to it is incredible! I am loving it here and I hope that everyone has an amazing week!!
