I officially have my new companion! He is from Ecuador and his name is Elder Altamirano, he is a pretty cool guy but I think that he is going to be leaving in a couple of weeks because I am going to be training a newbie that gets here October 22. I am going to be training a kid from London! That is going to be a drastic change coming from London and getting to a little town here on the coast of Colombia! ha ha but it is going to be way cool, I am really excited.
This week I was in Medellin for a couple of days and I got to say hi to my converts and all of my favorite member families! It was so nice seeing everyone again. I couldn't believe how different their accent was when I got there! I hardly understood anyone but I got used to it by the end of the day. It was like learning Spanish all over again! We got to go shopping at the flea market for a little bit too and we found some super cool stuff and it was all dirt cheap. The only bad part about the whole trip was being on a bus for 15 hours and then have to make the same trip back! It was a lot of fun though and I really enjoyed seeing everyone again.
Things are going good in the area, some of the investigators are being lazy but that is old news. The members are awesome and they continue to help us out every day!
