Hey Everyone!
I have had a really good week this week! Just been working every day and I am constantly exhausted here! I had my first real rainstorm here and it was so crazy, the rain drops were huge and the lightning was crazy! When the thunder would go off it would set off all of the car alarms in the neighborhood because it was so loud! Ha-ha but Spanish is going good and our investigators are kind of struggling but it is alright we have found a lot of new ones so we are going to be super busy this week! Spanish is going pretty good. A lot of people tell me that I understand a ton for only being out here for 2 weeks but I think they are just being nice! Ha-ha I gave 3 kids in the ward those CTR rings and they thought it was the coolest thing ever! They loved it and it was pretty cool! Oh and the other night we were tracting with some members and the song Teach me how to Dougie came on and I taught a couple members how to dance in America and they were all laughing because it is so different! Ha-ha they all think that it was pretty cool though and now they do it all of the time! Ha-ha!
We should have a baptism this week on Saturday with a kid named Francisco! He is 19 years old and he is awesome! I am really stoked for that and we should have some more baptisms this month!
A member gave us a thermometer the other day so I could find out how hot it is here in degrees and it is 80 non stop! Day, night, morning, it doesnt matter it is always 80 degrees and humid! I am finally getting used to things here! It was kind of a culture shock when I first got here but it is really good now and I am really enjoying it here! I am tired and just exhausted every day but it is going really good! I eat a ton here so I am going to be way fat by the time I get back but hopefully I can loose some of it in 2 years! Ha-ha today we are going to go to a huge market where people just set up shacks and sell stuff so hopefully I can buy some pretty cool stuff!
But things are good here in Colombia and I am loving it!!
Love, Elder Watts
