Hey mom/ Everyone!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!! It is weird to be away from home when all of that is going on! That is crazy! Dad told me about the joke he made! Ha-ha that is so funny! Typical dad. But thank you so much for the packages those will be so nice when I get them! The only bad part is we had a zone conference last week so I probably wont get it for a while!!

But this week has been pretty good! I haven't been really good at keeping you guys updated so I will do my best this week. This week we baptized a kid named Francisco and he is 19 years old and an awesome kid! We didn't think that we would be able to baptize him because he had a mandatory thing on Sundays and we couldn't confirm him but we got permission from the president and baptized and confirmed him the same day!! It was so cool!!

And I will tell you some things real quick that are pretty weird and cool here! Here instead of 7 days a week they say 8 days a week when they all know that there is only 7! It is so weird! The mountains here are SO much bigger than the ones in Utah and they are all just covered in green! It is so cool. There is a million dogs here that have no homes and just roam the streets and a ton of people have horses here and they makeshift a trailer out of who knows what and drive them on the street with the cars and buses! The people here have chicken or cock fights all of the time! It is completely illegal but people don't care. Across the street from our house they have them all of the time. We don't have any pillows in our apartment and hopefully you get the pictures of our apartment! There is a soda called Colombiana here and it is SO good! It is my all time favorite and we have it like every week! The sacrament services are pretty weird here, if someone needs to talk to the bishop about something they think there is no better time than the middle of sacrament meeting because he isn't doing anything so people just walk around on the stage and talk to the bishop and stuff but it is alright with everyone else! Last week we went to a bunch of malls and bought a jersey and a watch because mine is too flashy to wear around here but that was pretty sweet too!!

Baptism

This last week has been really good but really hard! it was so cool to see the baptism go through but Spanish is really tough! there are just so many things to focus on that it is really hard to pick up on stuff quickly but I think I will get the hang of it soon! But other than that it has been a really good week!! I love you mom/you all!!
