Hey everyone!
This week has been pretty good! The baptism that we were supposed to have fell through because her family got stuck out of town but we should be baptizing her soon! :) So everyone here in my ward thinks that I look like Joseph Smith for some reason so they always come up to me and ask, "How are you Joseph Smith"? Ha ha it is pretty wierd but its funny I guess! We have been teaching a lot of people this last week but the problem with a lot of them is they have to get married and some of them divorced which sucks and it is a hard process sometimes and the biggest problem is the money that people need to have. So this week hopefully we can do a little fundraiser thing to get a couple married that wants to get baptized! I have never done anything like that so hopefully it will go well. So this week we had some extra popcorn kernals from the movie night in the chapel the other day so I decided to make popcorn but I didnt know how so I threw some oil in a big pot with the kernals and it actually turned out really well! :) And we were shopping the other day in a store called Exito and it is like Walmart here and I found peanut butter! I was so stoked. I have eaten like half of it already with a spoon but it is so nice to have again! We went to down town Pereira today and we went shopping in all of the little shops and it is pretty fun to bargain with all of the people and see the cool stuff! I ended up buying some glasses and a jersey. Today we find out if we have transfers or not! I am pretty nervous because I am having a great time with my companion and I love my area so I dont want to leave but we will see how it goes and tell you guys about it next week!!
