Elder Watts: July 29, 2013

Things are going great out here in the coast, this week it got to about 110 with humidity so it was pretty miserable walking around in the streets but things are going good! We had a lot of people come to church yesterday and the assistance was the highest that I had ever seen it here in the branch so that was awesome. My companion is awesome! he is improving on his Spanish a ton and he is helping me to learn new things as well! We have been giving away those little wooden cars away lately and it has been a huge hit here! We went to the hospital this week because a recent converts kid is really sick and so we went to visit them and give them a blessing and we gave him a car after and he was really happy to have it. But they were sharing a hospital room with another family that had a little girl that was really sick as well so we asked her if she would like a car and she loved it as well. We ended up giving the little girl a blessing and they are listening to the missionaries right now so the cars are doing wonders out here! ha ha

We have received a couple of references from the branch in this week that have been awesome! We trained the whole branch one Sunday on how to share the gospel with their friends and now we are receiving references like crazy so the branch is progressing a ton which makes our job a lot easier! We have been working hard and sweating our butts off out here in the heat but things are going really well and we are seeing a lot of progress! Things are going really good here and we are super happy!
